Staying up until midnight to solve the next day’s New York Times’ “Connections” has become a routine for me this past year. My passion for brain games has only ever started to exponentially increase after the release of Wordle during my freshman year, not only challenging my brain to think in uncommon ways, but even igniting my love for developing creative solutions to global problems. This passion has led me to constantly seek out opportunities to gain experience and innovate.
My fascination with problem-solving has naturally evolved into a passion for developing creative solutions to address larger global issues. By researching how to create these solutions, I can expand my sphere of knowledge, which in turn enables me to develop innovative solutions to a larger number of problems as my critical thinking skills are enhanced. In my free time, you will always see me either engrossed in an article on Science Daily or binging episodes of Cleo Abram’s “Huge If True” show. These outlets keep me updated on the latest innovations and even inspire me to think about how I can put my own twist on these technologies to enhance them. This curiosity has even led me to creating a Google Doc filled with pages and pages of concepts I want to learn more about and potential research/innovation ideas that could change the world. Just the very idea of contributing to advancements in technology motivates me to stay curious and carve out opportunities to make the best innovations even better.
